If we don't stop the mindless bloodshed then there certainly be more of it.

If we do, and the Syria government falls, there is a good chance they will be replaced by Muslim fundamentalists who will go on a vengeful killing spree of their own. Among the dead will be Syria's Christians.

Between Iraq and a hard place.

I mean it’s a lose lose. But Assad is an Iranian puppet.

Part of the problem is that there is no strong America out there holding a stick these days. Just the threat of military intervention used to be enough to bring both sides to the negotiating table.

These days, America is Barney Fife shooting ourselves in the foot at every opportunity while our enemies simply ignore us.
