Obama has found it more difficult to raise money. He has $140 million so far, suggesting that it will be hard for his campaign to match its 2008 numbers, much less its ridiculous rumored projection of $1 billion.

Among Republicans, there has been an expectation that Obama -- having announced a fund-raising goal of $1 billion -- would reach it.

The GOP establishment, in particular, has assumed that Obama would bring a full warchest to the General Election in November.

Yet, after full-bore fund-raising 24/7, 365 -- to the apparent exclusion of doing any work whatsoever "for the 'Merican pipple", Obama is sitting at $140 million???

As is becoming increasingly more visible, "the Emperor has no clothes".

It's going to be a romp in November. Let's just hope we nominate the right guy.

I just watched Washington Week in Review. IIRC, Jeannie Cummings(?) said he raised $137 million, but he spent about $70 million already!

It's going to be a romp in November. Let's just hope we nominate the right guy.
