True to a primary season already marked by sudden and surprising ups and downs, Mitt Romney has jumped back into the lead in Michigans Republican Primary race. The votes on Tuesday.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary Voters in Michigan shows Romney with 40% of the vote and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum with 34%. The poll was conducted on Thursday night, following the last scheduled debate among the GOP candidates. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
If Romney wins Michigan he will be the nominee and your little buddy is cheering him on.
I early voted in the Georgia Primary today.
I won’t say who I voted for but his middle name is Leroy :-)
If I was cheering for Romney I would have been zotted by now.
Something you seem to want for yourself as evidenced by your endless name calling.
What Im really wondering is, is there a hope that Newt and Rick could team up?
*******
Rick, misread his surge- and therefore, was not open to cooperative with Newt.
But, if he loses Migh- he will come to understand that he was undone by the Pauls, spectors simpsons, Drudges, Coulters. limbaughs-—and other Romney establishment minions.
At that point, perhaps he will seek an alliance with Newt- and I hope that they would demand Romney step down in favor of a consensus candidate (e.g. Demint)— or else, they should make clear that they will bolt the party.
That rotten POS has been more effective at "the politics of personal destruction" than any democrat I have seen in my lifetime. Alas, there is a big enough spread in delegates that if all 4 candidates can stay in and win a few, Romney will not get to the magic 1,144 delegates on the first ballot.
Then the grand adventure begins anew.
“...or a man who says he is religious but doesnt act upon the tenets of his faith would be better.”
That’s right, nobody can be as holy as Saint Rick. *vomit*
In addition to Obamacare type program in MA. Romney was also creating a cap and trade, CO2 reduction program for MA. He consulted the science Czar John Holdren. link
Yeah, I’m afraid you are right. The way things are looking, unless Gingrich gets a boost, Santorum is ahead in Ohio. I have been frustrated trying to find current polls in Tennessee. The district I’m in seems to be strong for Gingrich, at least in the western part of our district.
I can’t wait to see and hear Newt tonight!
I attribute some of it to Santorum’s poor prep for the debate, which he needed to do well at.
or laszlo in pa.
Personally I believe Rick Santorum would be proud as peaches to be Myth’s VP, and likely prays for it, if he can muster enough delegates to even fall into consideration, which maybe all he is working toward, knowing full well that Romney will have the millions to contend in a general.
Romney NEEDS Santorum to have an enthusiastic conservative prayer for their support.
The VP is ALWAYS based on need, not comraderie, chummyness, or even like mindedness, be it region needed, issue needed, or coalition, or ideology.
Newt must perform in the South for traction and will need to pivot for the North, finding a blue collar winner for the NE. Maybe Ryan, the numbers man. Heck, maybe Romney the Socialist numbers man. Who can possibly know?
Or maybe Jeb Bush will come in soon and FIX everything on earth. /s /s /s
SMILING!
God bless you and NLG and all of his steadfast patriot supporters!!!
“I guess you agree with the libtards that discussing social values has no place in presidential politics.”
No, running a campaign on character alone instead of real policy ideas has no place in presidential politics. It’s you guys who are deluded into thinking you are superior morally and religiously. Not us, and it won’t help you in the general.
LoL.
[Last report I saw, GA was about a 3 way tie at this point.]
An old poll that does not reflect the present. The poll is meaningless in this fluid election, and highly doubtful Newt will lose Georgia.
Mega Wisconsin Dittos, Onyxie.
Can’t remember if you said in your other posts, are you going to see Newt Monday?
That is going to be Awesome! My grandson lives in Brentwood and will be there.
As a matter of fact, you don't ever see Santorum in the same sentence with magnanimous or shrewd.
