It probably wasn’t a judgmental thing. Quitting as Gov. was all she could do at that point but I was disappointed that the Left was going to get their jollies at her sake again. I was wishing that she could have hung in there but they won and were getting what they wanted.
I felt pretty bad for her.

It doesn't matter. In politics as in much of life perception is reality. Perception is she's a quitter so she's a quitter. The rationale doesn't matter. In time she can rehabilitate but 2012 isn't it. On the plus side, all the emails are out. There's nothing left to grasp for. We know from them the reasons given publicly are the reasons she was giving at work. These are now facts on the record.
Perhaps her mistake was agreeing to run with McCain but without that she might've been attacked the same way and had no means to climb out of the hole as she did in having become a national figure.
