Good morning, Army Bro! We're under a heavy deadline at work - may be getting overtime this weekend.
Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

This one's off the beaten path, but it's a great song and brings back really great memories:
Oh Yeah (On the Radio) by Roxy Music:
Last verse:
It's some time since we said goodbye
And now we lead our separate lives
But where am I where can I go?
Driving alone to a movie show
So I turn to the sounds in my car
I was a bachelor then, stationed in Germany. I was driving my dream car, a Volvo 242GT, with a Bose sound system. Although stationed at Spangdahlem AB, I had several good friends up near Kiel, thanks to a TDY assignment. On long weekends, I'd make the 400 mile drive (in 5 hours), "driving alone" on the autobahn at 100 mph while "turning to the sounds in my car".

Good morning, Pro ((HUGS))
The week seemed to go by fast to me cause it’s been busy and I feel like I haven’t had enough time to get it done. I think I’m going to work through lunch to catch up.
I see daffodils in my neighbor’s yard - not fully opened yet. The trees (crabapple I think) outside my window here at work are popping open. Little birdies are sucking the blossoms - they look like a human sucking honeysuckle. LOL
I published a romance, called Hooked. I write women’s fiction. Character driven with some humor. I have one story in the works about 4 elderly crime solvers (so to speak) who are witches. But right now I’m working on my very first story - re-writing cause I’ve learned a thing or two since 2008 LOL - another romance. Thanks for asking.
Hope your weekend is wonderfully wonderlicious!

Thank you for your service.

Kathy Mattea ~ 455 Rocket There is a great version of "455 Rocket" by Francine Reed.
Can't find it on YouTube but if you ever see it, give it a listen.
