They did extend the rear of the car right? When I heard
about it I thought extending the fulcrum means more leverage
that not just a bump but simply being too close could cause an up draft pulling the traction off the rear tires.
They lowered the bottom of the rear bumper.
I don’t think the rear axle center to bumper dimension changed.
These sure are sensitive little beasties at 200 mph, they’re flirting with disaster to defy the laws of aerodynamics.
