Indy cars ran on methanol after 1964. They switched to 100% ethanol a few yrs ago.
Nascar ran on leaded gasoline, then switched to unleaded, now runs on E15 which is 85% unleaded gasoline and 15% ethanol.

That is correct. Indy cars run that If I remember correctly.
