Isn’t he the guy who promised to make energy prices “skyrocket”?
is it just me, or is Barry sounding like he’s on the verge of full-scale panic over this issue?
and if there is one thing that Obama knows very very well is “Lying “
Does anyone seriously listen to the President’s crap anymore?
“Indicates”? I thought he said it flat out.
Conversely, there are many ways to push up gas prices in the long term. And that's exactly what Obama is doing.
Those stupid college students that listened to him.
They go to these high priced Universities, suck mommy and daddy’s bank accounts, get some BS degree and think they know everything.
A dog smells his own $hit first so Obummer should know who is or is not a liar.
>There isn’t a way to bring gas prices down immediately.
Sure there is, repeal all the taxes associated with fuel production/transport. (Might not be a lot, but it would make a dent.)
>However, there are many ways to bring gas prices down in the long term.
Such as repealing the injunctions against building more refineries?
>Conversely, there are many ways to push up gas prices in the long term. And that’s exactly what Obama is doing.
True; but our policies (esp. ‘environmental’) have been doing that for decades.
Part of the solution is to get rid of the guy that won’t do anything about the problem.
Just as good an idea would be to cut the federal and state excise taxes in half. That would cut prices by 9 + 15 cents in my state, more in CA, less in most others, but still a lot.
Of course, all the purposes to which those taxes are being diverted would have to be cut.
Darn.
The immediate solution is to get rid of Bork Obunga...
End the EPA.
Without the FedGov’s interference, the regulatory burden is gone and competition gets thrown back out into the free market.
And yes, it’s just that damn easy.
No lie...
My immediate solution:
Drop the federal gas tax to zero. Immediately. Easy to implement. Just don’t collect it. Prices drop at least 56 cents across the board.
He should know. Takes one to know one (liar, that is).
“Fast” Ed Markey said that opening up the Petroleum Reserve will immediately lower oil and gas prices. He should know. He drove an Ice Cream Truck.
