Republicans must win this election (and all subsequest ones)without these states, which are really part of a different country than the USA. It remains possible to do so. Republican candidates should not spend one red penny campaigning in those states. Republicans voting in those states with apportioned electors should act as disruptors and vote for ultraleft third parties that actually have a chance of siphoning off a few electoral votes from the Democrats.
Maine went totally Republican in the 2010 elections, so I would at least try to win in Maine.

That map says Kerry lost Iowa and barely won Wisconsin (.4%).
I’m thinking that Michigan and Iowa might be in play this year. But, if they don’t spend money and campaign in all of those States, it will hurt the down-ballot races for Senate and The House. We need to take control of the Senate and hold The House.
