Huge difference. In Clinton’s case, he was ALREADY President, and the women who were duped by the Predator-in-Chief had to grasp for reasons to justify their foolishness. In Newt’s example, they HAVEN’T voted for him yet, so they can more easily project their anger toward their no-good boyfriend, husband or dad on him. *I* think he’s sincere about turning his life around, but I’m just one person, and I’m a guy. Why do the reasons the women provide have anything to do with it? I’m talking about Clinton hypothetically being reelected, or simply look at his approval/popularity polls now. If Newt has problems with approval/popularity, it’s because of the media spin and smears against him which were rampant in the ‘90s. It’s the same reason Palin or Rush Limbaugh have problems with approval ratings. The media practices mind control on people to make people think they’re evil, stupid, mean, etc. They’ll do it to real conservatives every time they start to become popular. It doesn’t mean that those conservatives can’t overcome the bad press if they can speak directly to the people, like Reagan did, as well as Rumsfeld did during his famed press briefings in the 2000s.
