Looking back, I think it's a shame that Perry did so poorly in his early debates.

Looking back I can say I misjudged Perry, fought against him, and now regret it.

It doesn't matter now, as Perry has withdrawn and firmly supports Newt. Much to his credit, he is still in the mix, and trying to do the right thing.

At this point we need to get rid of Romney, not fight old fights about Perry.

Totally agree as with my prior upthread poss calling for that very thing. But someone here refuses to let it drop and I won’t let her rewrite history.

I've found that to be the case for many FReepers who stomped all over Perry. Though yours is the first public comment to state such.
