You can look over the thread to know how Santorum did when the debate was going. His Santobots quiet to almost nonexistent. They know Santo did not do good in this debate.

My God, i’m watching it now and Santorum is just droning on and on ...looking like an argumentative LAWYER, and Romney is just being Romney by attacking them on insignificant CRAP. It’s just totaly unpleasant to listen to.

Newt IS winning by just sitting there and not being involved and being eloquent. As president, he’d be such a class act.

He did all right. Watching the replay now, he really smacked mitty up on the title10/arlen spector/romneycare exchange.

LOL, even one of the Santophiles posted a few pages back that he just knew no one was watching the debate anyway and it would have terrible ratings. That’s even sinking further into desperation and lousy, phony talking points than they usually go.

I liked Santorum well enough as a second choice after Newt for a while but, unlike Newt, his record has not held up well under the increased scrutiny. I was surprised that was the best defense he could come up with for voting for the bill with the Planned Parenthood funding. That made me question whether his moral convictions are as strong as he likes to say they are. And when he came out and pretty much openly said he was a “go along to get along guy” in Washington (not even disagreeing when Ron Paul used those words) he just shredded the whole basis for his candidacy in these troubled times to pieces.

I thought another great Newt answer was how he said they are probably all more distrustful of big government than they had been in the past. I think that was a believable answer about how someone’s positions can honestly evolve over time.

I noticed.

For the good of our country, they should reevaluate their commitment.

President Newt Gingrich—”Our beloved republic deserves nothing less.”
