LIVE DEBATE THREAD (Is it too early to start?)
doubting you is not my concern...speaking too much about him, is my concern.
I understand OPSEC far more than you do,apparently
There may be something to that rumor floating around, about Myth considering Senator Rand Paul as his running mate.
oh come on.. we wanted Perry, but it was not in the cards. Newt was always my second choice! Regardless of the outcome, other than Newt! the rest are arugula to Obama’s salad :(
Yep...If Newt wins he'll use Rick within his administration I think... Newt knows how to handle Rick...because contrary to what Rick thinks..he needs handlers.
After this evening’s performance, Im thinking Rick not only needs handles, he needs a muzzle!
I understand, but I am in touch and posted as much as I could, without compromise! I would never endanger a friend!
Name names or STFU!
and who cares about ONE supporter?
handles=Handlers (I’m tired—Im not one of the OWS idiots that doesnt have to get up and work for a living......time for me to hit the rack)
Don’t say that! LOL Mitt will put him in a cage atop his car...hahahaha
Things did not work out.
I’ve had a lousy last couple months but to day I hit pay dirt!
Money would make a big difference because the ABSOLUTELY ONLY thing holding Newt back from leading the pack is the problems in getting his messages out to the public. On a level playing field, no one who relies on negative campaigning like Romney can compete.
Santorum simply did not parry the attacks well and showed he could be destroyed in a debate with Obama while on the receiving end of attacks. It’s not so much that they showed Santorum is not a conservative, but that they showed he isn’t that articulate and will cave in on the big issues when the going gets tough. What we need is someone who will FIGHT and LEAD, which Santorum has never done.
Everything you say about the politics of voting for Newt could have been said about Santorum after South Carolina. That Santorum staying in the race could only take away votes from Newt and hand the nomination to Romney. Well, that proved wrong. Santorum showed that conservatives could rapidly switch to him and beat Romney in the polls. Now Newt can show the same thing happening to him on Super Tuesday.
I actually saw a station in the middle of Yosemite Park, that was charging $5.35 / gallon... in July 2007.

Newt did splendidly. He mentioned Obamas support of infanticide! Got in the talking points about energy independence as the answer to our economic troubles AND the political mess in the Middle East.
Santorum got bloodied and booed on occasion, then made excuses for his poor performance to interviewers. CNN commentators agreed he is not ready for the major league.

Gee, if a bunch of left-wing CNN commentators all agree that Rick Santorum is not ready for the major league, well then it MUST be true.

SANTORUM..... CANT..... WIN, PERIOD. Its finis for him.
Drinking word for this Newtist is: FUNDAMENTAL
Correction LL: “Fundamentally!”
I’m a woman, and you paint us with a broad (and incorrect)brush saying that women won’t ‘forgive’ Newt. You are wrong. Not only will women ‘forgive’ him, but we will vote for him.
As a Christian woman I tried to like Santorum but found that I am wary of him because (along with other things) he is a bit weasely from my point of view, and frankly I don’t personally know anyone who does like him.
Hope that won’t be too bitter of a pill for you to swallow when the time comes.
I don't buy that whatsoever.
Yes I have been there, worked at Ramat Gan and has Israeli business partners...knew the place fairly well. Leftist American Jews must find Christian conservatives coveting them amusing and a little scary..
I'll pass...the only thing I feel religiously for Jews is in some cases cultural kinship...which I do not feel for Islam though we share some prophets with them as well and I suppose Christians and Jews do share Jehovah...more or less. Muslims would argue they do too but i have a hard time seeing Allah..from the Moon worship as being the same as Jehovah.
But claiming Jews are the key to our salvation same as Jesus is to me almost blasphemous other than the fact Jesus was born a Galilean Jew but I think we can safely say he transcended that quickly.
most Jews have heard the "word" for a long time, most choose to ignore it..sometimes for decent reasons...pogroms come to mind...and that is their right...i can't fault them but by the same token I fail to see how they are the key to my salvation...it appears to me that the reverse argument could be made.
Christianity has apparently gotten different. My church supports Israel very much in many ways..like the IDF family survivors funds from before our own wars with Islam began..but that is where it ends. It's easy to see and especially for anyone who has been there to tell that most Israelis are more like us than they are their neighbors..even though I have a hard time telling Yemeni and some other Sephardic or Oriental Jews from Lebanese or Hashemites...though usually you can tell physically
anyhow..fair enough..have a good nite sleep
PS...I lived in Manhattan for 8 years and Dade county for 6..I would argue I have been around both practicing and non practicing Jews more than most...Seders, both Mitzvahs, one bris, and whatnot many times...I even know what Purim is...fascinating folks...great company...rarely not bright...a lot to admire...but the leftist ones aggravate me to no end...it must be a real riot for Jewish conservatives...they have my sympathy
When Romney said, "You get to ask the questions and I get to answer how I like". King should have stopped him and said, "If you choose not to address the question, we will now move to the next candidate. Moderator's privilege. Mr. Speaker?"
