To: Kartographer

What is needed is a defense and essential net in the US..that has a air gap between it and internet. There is no way that any civilian computer should be able to access the net that powers our country.

That would be less secure than what we have today. Essential systems are separated from the internet. Connecting them to each other would reduce security.
