Remove the local state and fed taxes on each gallon!
I’ve got no problem with a reasonable tax on a gallon of gas... as long as it goes DIRECTLY to road maintenance and repair (and nowhere else). You can reduce it... you can’t get rid of it. Roads don’t fix themselves.
