Bravo, I echo your thoughts. I get my perspective by talking to other people outside of FR.

That is the only way to know what the attitude is from people who do not participate on internet forums about politics.

I see Newt as having a very hard time up against Obama attacking him on Obamacare. It is hard to make a case when you agreed with the primary factor of Obamacare which is mandates. Yes, he may have changed his thoughts on that now. But you know how Obama and the media will spin that. Same with Cap and Trade and global warming.

I will vote for the nominee, but I hope it isn’t Romney.

The individual mandate that Newt supported was a product of the Heritage Foundation. It is really not the same as what is in Obamacare, but Newt has since said that the Conservative mandate idea was also not the best way to go. Newt has no problem admitting when he is wrong. Obama does, and I don’t think he is going to find an answer on his telepromptor that will satisfy voters.
