Israel, the idiot west is not your friend, do what must be done.
Israel will do what it must.The Prime Minister of Israel is the secular leaded and defender of the Jewish people. He cannot make the same mistake the German Jewish leaders made in the early 1930’s when they did not take the rhetoric of Hitler seriously. The leaders of Iran have supported terrorists and called for the destruction of Israel. Bibi’s term may end in early 2013. He is not the sort of man to leave this burden for the next Prime Minister. An attack will probably occur this spring before those nuclear targets are hardened underground. However it is not clear if Israel really has the capability to the the task alone. Inevitably the United States will become involved. However Iran is not Iraq. Our blue water navy is in the narrow confines of the Persian Gulf and Iran has most probably been armed with a sophisticated shore to ship missile system. Those ships,sailors and Marines are in harms way. This strategic dilemma is the the bitter fruit of the Church committee emasculating the CIA in the 1970’s. If the US loses capital ships or suffers large causalities, the shock to the world will be immense. Also Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton so far have failed diplomatically. Iran ,unlike Iraq, is not severely isolated. India continues to buy oil. They are supported by China and Russia. Obama is facing the most historic decisions of his presidency. Let’s hope he gets it right.
