Bought a Mossburg 500 Tactical shotgun yesterday and changed out the stock to pistol grip. Haven’t had a chance to take it to the range yet...what kind of kick back versus the stock should I expect? Trying to get my mind around the pistol grip idea...

Thanks...

Well.. here’s the deal.

you better run 7 1/2 loads or less. If you run buck shot with a pistol grip youll break your hand

Hate to tell ya this, but I've read on a number of different gun boards that many guys end up taking the pistol grip off and putting the stock back on.

Even shooting from the hip, the stock provides an additional control point (hold the stock against your hip).

YMMV
