“We have a preponderance of shuttered up businesses and retail space in Buffalo - a town certainly used to this kind of thing - but we have even more than usual.”

Northern NJ is in a slow death spiral, too; businesses and the Americans that worked in them are fleeing, leaving illegal aliens and the permanent underclass. Right next to the new Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands is a huge mall (including indoor ski lift) that never even opened. They finished construction a few years back, and none of the businesses have opened.

It’s actually quite eerie.

“It’s actually quite eerie.”

I’d pass there on Rt. 3 and wonder what all of that was.

Yep.

This is near the South gate of the Air Force Academy - never occupied or finished.

Been in that state since 2007.

This is on "Space Center" way:

Finished in 2007.  Never been occupied.

Meanwhile, I see McYuppy Rice-mobile SUVs turning into Peterson AFB every AM with "Save Tibet" queer "Equality" and Obama bumper stickers in proud display.

Somewhere in Hell, Niki Kruschev is caressing his shoe and softly chortling -- "See, told you so, vee bury you".
