Turkey will never allow any third country, particularly Israel, to use intelligence obtained by a NATO radar system, its foreign minister said on Friday. "We will never allow any third country to use any NATO facility. Our position will be even more clear if it is particularly Israel," Davutoglu told a joint news conference with visiting NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen in Ankara.
His remarks came after some media outlets reported that the United States and Israel have carried out a joint missile test by using intelligence gathered by a NATO radar system based in eastern Turkey.
Last year Ankara decided to host in a military facility base near Malatya in the southeast an early warning radar as part of NATO's defense architecture.
"It is a NATO system and we appreciate that Turkey has agreed to host one of the facilities," said Rasmussen.
"Data are shared within our alliance among the allies. It is a defence system to protect the populations of NATO allies," he added without mentioning Israel, which is not a NATO member.
Turkey's relations with one-time regional ally Israel plunged into deep crisis in 2010 when Israeli forces killed nine Turks in a raid on a Turkish ferry, part of an activist flotilla seeking to breach Israel's naval blockade of Gaza.
In 2011, Turkey expelled the Israeli ambassador and axed military ties and defence trade after Israel's refusal to apologise and compensate the flotilla victims.

What’s wrong with leaving NATO and the UN?
One the data is fed into a US comm link, what Turkey will or won’t allow becomes totally irrelevant.
"We will never allow any third country to use any NATO facility. Our position will be even more clear if it is particularly Israel," Davutoglu told a joint news conference with visiting NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen in Ankara... after some media outlets reported that the United States and Israel have carried out a joint missile test by using intelligence gathered by a NATO radar system based in eastern Turkey. No problem. It's long past time to dump Turkey the hell out of NATO. We should wait, though, until we've built our support network for local insurgencies, so that what's left of the Ottoman Caliphate can be dismantled and the indigenous peoples attain Right of Return.
as an unfortunate resident of your state sir I find your whining about globalist oligarchy nonsense offensive. The only thing I can agree with is leaving the UN but you don’t have to bring all the hippy nim chimpsky gore vidal crap into it.
The globalists primarily are interested in making money and keeping as much as they can. The internationalists milk them a bit and get supported on fat salaries doing NGO and Foundation "charitable" work. It's their payoff not to riot. The Foundations are set up by their wealthy benefactors to keep enough money for the family heirs (trust fund babies) to keep them comfortable and to hire lefty's to run charities. Both the heirs and lefty parasites have a symbiotic relationship and an interest in keeping the Foundations whole.
You won't get this from the mainstream media. They are paid not to report on international scale gangsters. The Saudis have their tentacles even in the "Fair and Balanced" Fox News network with the Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal having 7 percent of its shares. You can count on the Globalists getting whitewashed in the news.
As for you Blado, if all you have to contribute to life is insults, that's how you will appear to everyone else. Putz.
Israel does not belong to NATO.
It is not allowed for NATO members to share intel with non-NATO members.
Where’s the story here?
As far as NATO membership, Turkey has been a member since 1952, the 13th out of 28 members to join. Turkey joined 3 years before Germany and sent many troops to die next to and supporting our troops in Korea. Anyone remember the Cold War, Warsaw Pact?
Next to Israel, they are the best friend we have in the Middle East.
“What they don’t teach you in business school is the way the internationalists work.”
Can you provide REAL evidence in support of your statements?
Can you provide REAL evidence in support of your statements?
What? Are you going to law-fare me now? You expect me to have video tape from hidden cameras overseas? I'm supposed to have subpoena power over Swiss banks?
When Orwell wrote Animal Farm did he give you "real evidence" on how the communists took over Russia? Or, did he simply supply you with observations in sufficient detail to help you put together the logic of the narrative.
With friends like Turkey, who needs enemies.
The Republic or Turkey was our ally in the Middle East. Since teh election of the Islamist AKP, they have been led by our enemies.
We do have a Memoradum of Understanding with Israel. The Strategic Cooperation Agreement was concluded on November 30, 1981 between the United States and Israel during the first Reagan administration and coincided with an official visit of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir. The agreement was signed by Israeli Defense Minister Ariel Sharon and American Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger and pledged specific actions from both parties to increase strategic cooperation between them.
Turkey has been siding with Iran in numerous issues. In June 2009, Turkish President Abdullah Gul called Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to congratulate him on his re-election and wished Iran continued success. In March 2009, Iran and Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding agreeing to cooperate in air, land, and sea transportation as part of an effort to raise the two countries bilateral trade to $20 billion.
“When Orwell wrote Animal Farm did he give you “real evidence”...?”
You’re not Orwell.
We are a member of NATO just like Turkey and cannot pass NATO intel to Israel no matter what agreements we have with Israel.
The convicted spy, Jonathan Pollard tried to pass on similar intel to Israel.
But we have security agreements with Israel. During Gulf War I we shared early warning satellite data with them.
We have 30 years worth of security and other agreements with Israel, unless you want to break them.

..................
I don’t see this impacting much of anything.
The US is in NATO, so will get NATO intel. And if warranted, we reclassify it... and send the intel to Israel. Without telling anyone, of course... as that would honk off Turkey, who then stop cooperating.
