Agreed. Santorum has been my guy once the establishment hacks got rid of Cain.

This situation does make me even more in favor of party registration and closed primaries. The Virginia General Assembly killed the bill to do just that. Idiots.

I’m sick of the other side choosing our candidates.

Open primaries are insane. It allows the other side to try to choose the weaker candidates so they will lose against their candidate. Santorum doesn’t stand a chance, he never did and never will. Newt is the only one strong enough to go up against the Marxists in the WH and the only one afraid to call them what they are. The only one better is Sarah and
she’s not running.

Huh? Why should the taxpayers subsidize what is an internal party function in the first place? If the VA GOP doesn’t like open primaries, it is more than welcome to select it’s candidates at a convention or caucus that the taxpayers won’t have to pay to conduct.
