At this very moment my 7 year old godson is asleep on my couch while his mother attends her grandfathers funeral and his father is serving in Kuwait. He is in the safest place in the world for him besides being with his Mom and Dad. This “non-biological” male is the big dog in this house and he will kill anyone who would do this child harm.
Your broad brush was if not ludicrous was at least maliscious, there are many men out here who understand the need to protect those entrusted to our care. He comes to me alot because dad is not available right now and he needs a males’ guidance for things mommy cannot understand. God forbid someone who would do him harm or any of my God children, my children, or my grandchildren. Death will not come easy for them! Prison does not scare me. All the children are precious!
In Donovans’ case, he had an abusive mother, neglect is child abuse, who chose to lie down with dogs and Donavan paid the price for her neglect and gross stupidity.
Any man who would harm a child is lower than the animals and deserves whatever and as much pain and suffering as can be inflicted.
