Rick is leading in the Migh polls— Newt lagging far behind. So, Mitt goes after Newt. Actually, that makes perfect sense to many of us- no surprise.

How many times do we have to tell you that Rick has NOTHING to do a commercial on. He is the perfect candidate with regards to issues. The only thing that gets others upset is his endorsement for Arlen which has been explained numerous times before so Mitt has nothing to do a commercial on Rick. What? Do you want him to do a commercial with the snow going? Remember those days? That might make for interesting novelty but it won’t get people to not vote for Rick. You are just going to have to admit that Rick has ZERO negatives to do a commercial about.

There is a story on the net where shows Rick took pac money from Romney before. Today, it has been removed. The requested page “/2012/01/05/7809/romney-pac-gave-trash-talking-r%20ival-santorum-10k-donation-2006” could not be found.

Not to mention that this story is based on the say so of “someone who tracks Republican media spending”. If Romney does run anti Gingrich ads in Michigan it just proves that he’s an idiot, nothing more.

It cracks me up that people who seem intent on making sure Romney wins in Michigan claim Santorum is secretly working for Romney (Like every other candidate has been accused of).

"You are just going to have to admit that Rick has ZERO negatives to do a commercial about."

There are enough quotes in Rick's book to relegate him to political obscurity in the general election.

Thing is, nobody can attack that flank in the primaries.

I believe it's time to vet that side of Rick.

Better now than September.

thanks for the laugh -- lol. What a delusional statement. perfect? I looked carefully at Rick's record. Fiscally, he is a moderate liberal at best. Rick's instinct is to turn to the power of the State to solve problems.

Rick doesn't seem interested in our Founder's belief in "leaving people the h*ll alone as much as possible." Looking coldly at his record, he is a nanny state moderate.

When this is over, you’re going to need counseling. Some might argue that you already need it.

Santorum doesn’t stand a snowballs chance in Hell of winning the presidency.

Most likely, we’re going to get stuck with another 4 years of Obama.... good luck.

Rick has ZERO negatives...

And zero charisma. Rick's the perfect "Wonderboy" to Mitt's "Captain Sunshine." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgwpEDAsPGY

Newt/Palin or better yet Palin/Newt is the Obamabeater.

You quote my post to improper effect. I said nothing about Rick or negativity. I merely stated that, though Rick was in the lead, Romney still attacks Newt. Newt supporters know why— that’s all I said.

I agree that it is hard for Romney to go after Santorum on the issues; how could he, all their positions are the same.

And he can’t go after Santorum for being a statist; after all, as far as Romney is concerned, what’s wrong with that?

And as far as I know, Santorum is a decent guy; he’s just indistinguishable from Romney on virtually everything I care most about.

Also, if Santorum is the nominee, we lose in a landslide in November as Tea Party types stay home; no Senate, and no more House either. Obama gets free reign for another four years, and three nominees to the Supreme Court.

I’m thinking about Australia as a viable alternative. We are staring into the mouth of disaster here, folks. And most of us are too intoxicated to see it.
