Pro-Romney Group Buys $500,000 In Michigan TV Ads (Newt Targeted)
NY Times ^ | February 13, 2012 | Jeremy W. Peters

Mitt Romney is getting some heavy air support in Michigan — the state where he was born and raised — as the “super PAC” supporting him invests almost $500,000 on television ads there.

According to someone who tracks Republican media spending, Restore Our Future has committed just over $470,000 for commercials starting Tuesday and set to run through Feb. 20. That marks the group’s largest purchase yet in Michigan, where it will have spent more than $700,000 on ads by next week.

The group said Monday that it would continue for now to run an ad called “Risk” that targets Newt Gingrich using images and attacks that have by now become familiar advertising fodder. It cites the proliferation of earmarks during his tenure as House speaker and shows a shot of him sitting with Nancy Pelosi on a couch in front of the Capitol, a shot taken from a public service announcement on global warming.

Regarding Newts “record”, I look at things that matter rather than campaign propaganda. On on issue after issue in the debates, I’ve heard Newt say “Rick is right on that” or “Rick was a leader” on this or that issue.

I think a moon base while we’re trillions in debt is a dumb idea. I’ll also wager that Newt’s own campaign will attest that his method of attacking Romney on Bain was mis-directed, mis-guided...oh yea, Newt’s own words “a mistake”.

There is an article earlier today regarding “refocusing” after sliding to 4th in many polls, but I’m not following Newt’s campaign around with a shovel, nor do I troll his threads like you and other spammers of Santorum threads do.

That said, there are plenty of examples where Newt has REVERSED course, but the main issue is that what Newt says now is not what he’s always promoted. Santorum authored Health Savings Accounts while in Congress, Newt pushed for government-mandated single payer healthcare.

What matters most is electing a candidate to stand up against the culture of death pushed by the DUmocrats. The erosion of our liberty and freedom is a primary consern and goes into every issue. But then I guess we should all just “relax and accept it”, just like Newt says....lest we pi$$ off the BIG TENT “moderates”....

Gun Owners of America: Newt Ain’t Great on 2nd Amendment Rights, Broke His Promise to America

http://thespeechatimeforchoosing.wordpress.com/2011/11/28/gun-owners-of-america-newt-aint-great-on-2nd-amendment-rights-broke-his-promise-to-america/

If you cannot get RIGHT TO LIFE or THE MEANS TO DEFEND IT correct, how can you claim to be a conservative? If a candidate gets those three correct they are more likely to get all the other issues correct as well.

Newt’s “off-the-reservation” moments are too numerous, too freguent, and increasingly too recent. Santorum has been consistent in his pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-second amendment stance....Newt has been all over the map trying to appeal to “moderates” and JACKASSES. His last line of attack wasn’t gaining traction and only hurt his cause, and it shows. Newt still needs a his only competition out of the way to get a boost where Rick just needs to stick to his message and he defeats both Romney and Obama.

On on issue after issue in the debates, I’ve heard Newt say “Rick is right on that” or “Rick was a leader” on this or that issue.

Haha, WHAT lies and spin. This video shows that JUST THE OPPOSITE WAS TRUE. Everyone in the debates kept saying Newt was right on everything. Barely anyone ever said Rick was right on anything, but you're free to dig up those quotes if you can.

Of course you know that Newt proposed NO new spending for his moon exploration. He plans to beat China there by repurposing the NASA budget and incentivizing private companies to get us there.

Remember Santorum saying in the debates that voting for Medicare Part D was a mistake? Or when Rick told Trump that he was trying to learn from the mistakes he made when he lost the 2006 election by almost 20 points? Or when Rick mistakenly said at a town hall that remark about black people? Or when he tripped over his words as usual and had to explain later what he meant about women not serving in combat?

People can click my name to scroll through my profile and see the explanations to clear up your LYING about Newt's pro-life and pro-gun record.

LOL! Newt’s words...too bad if your spoon-fed propaganda disagrees with his actual deeds. But then again EVERY source other than Newt-pushed propaganda is a “lie” in the view of kool-aid cultist.
