How the he** could they be shocked?? This poor woman had been on a downward spiral for years, and everyone knew why.
Whitney made Parton a millionaire in addition to what Parton has made on her own.
Hey Lonestar...how are you?
That is not a bad idea at all.
I said, "No! No! NO!"
I had never heard Amy Winehouse sing before her death...was only aware of her because of her outlandish behavior and run-ins with the law.
When she died, out of curiosity I went to Utube to see what all the fuss was about and am now the biggest fan of Amy Winehouse.
I'm old...Winehouse sang songs that were popular when I was growing up! I had no clue she was primarily a jazz singer...her first love. She had so much wasted talent!

I wonder...does nobama mourn for the tens of millions of dead babies whose lives were taken? Does he mourn for the dead babies whose brains were sucked out of them as they were born (in partial-birth abortions that he adamantly has supported for a long time)? Are “his thoughts and prayers” with them and their families? I wonder...
What's good for the Fetus is good for the Diva, right Obama?
You’re a real class act, you know that?
Maybe that sick scumbag Ray Mabus will name an aircraft carrier after her.
Truth hurts.
Her death is truly sad, even though she chose to use drugs and alcohol. She recorded some truly inspirational songs that really make you think. They choke me up when I listen to them because they speak to me. I feel for her family, especially for her young daughter who needs guidance.
This just goes to show you that life is fragile. It does not matter who you are.
I hope she is at peace.
He would “half” care.
Yeah,I know that was lame and poorly-written...
Donna Summer can hold a note!
Have you ever heard ‘Dim all the Lights’?
Great disco song.
It took me forever to learn that she said ‘turn up the old Victrola’.
I did a lot of roadie, mobile disco work during the disco era, I even went out with a cousin of one of the Sister Sledge girls, I didn’t like disco but I remember that Summer could sing, she was one of a few exceptions for me.
