“If accurate, this poll shows that Obama has a non-trivial chance of being re-elected.”

Behold the power of the MSM. It may be dying, but it’s power is undeniable.

Obama is a shoe in.

IMHO, it feeds off the laziness of the people. They can't be bothered to search for the truth. They'd rather be told how to think & feeeeeeeeel by Brian Williams et al.

Powerful yes. All powerful no.

And the power the MSM has is on the decline thanks to FR, Breitbart and others who are becoming an increasingly powerful force in American politics.

We destroyed the Global Warming scam and we can ruin the Bill Ayers initiative that put the Marxist Barak Obama in the White House as well. It just takes enough votes in November. We can get those votes if we just continue to neutralize the lies told daily by the MSM. That's Job One here at FR.

Your idea that the influence and power if the MSM is dying, is flawed. The opposite is true. The older image of it has changed and it may appear to you, to be dying, but in reality, it has merely gone deeper into the subconscious of Brain Dead America.

Every time you hit the “ON” button on your i-phone, i-pad, computer or TV, you are being bombarded by disinformation and propaganda. The MSM has merely grown more clever and in some ways, much bigger and far more dangerous than ever before.

No doubt about it, the MSM has been very successful in portraying Republicans as "extreme." Between them and the total domination by the left of our educational system, they have managed to dumb our population down to the point that they agree with the DHS that talking about the Constitution, our Founding Fathers, and balanced budgets is "extreme."

That said, I still believe Obama can be defeated, but we need someone who can by-pass the MSM and educate the America voters on what conservatism actually is. The only people I know of who might accomplish that are Newt, Palin (both of whom have been severely damaged) or someone like Marco Rubio. It has to be someone with terrific oratory skills and strong core conservative beliefs. That former is what leaves Santorum out. He's strong on conservatism, but he lacks the oratory skills and he lacks the charisma that goes with those skills.

Sooo . . . yeah, we are in deep doo-doo. Right now a brokered convention may be our best hope.

Right about the MSM. They went from three alphabet stations into every nook of the Internet.
Disinformation and the lack of total factual information is a powerful tool.
