Governor Palin said that a brokered convention would not be a negative for the Republican party.

Awesome!
It might not be bad for the GOP but I guarantee that conservatives would get screwed.
Provided Jeb Bush remains miles away, the GOP Convention could be meaningful.
The MSM would use the phrase “smokey back room” 50,000 times an hour from opening day of the convention until the day Gingrich (or Palin) is defeated by Obama.
“Video at source!”
Stolen-by-Mark-America video right here:

Surely you know that markamerica had nothing to do with the video other that stealing it.
If there is any chance that it will be a brokered convention, because none of the current candidates has a majority, then it’s extremely important that we have some solid, reliable, conservative delegates at that convention, people who cannot be bought out by the movers and shakers in the GOP.
That means Tea Party type action at the state level, I should think.
Otherwise, we are only too likely to end up not with Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, or Rick Santorum—but with Jeb Bush.
I still can’t see what the end of this will be. If they try to stuff Mitt or Jeb down our throats, then we’ll need to start a new party and put up our own candidate—if we can agree on one. Because the time has run out for our country.
Yeah I posted the youtube link as well....got the mark link from facebook...
We're screwed anyway if the GOP nominates the Potemkin Candidate Mitt Romney
That is the sad truth!!!
Palin is what CPAC was meant to be.
It’s the voice that is needed and it will be supported.
Don’t be affraid.
If the electorate see’s no obvious difference it will go with what it knows. That is how Obama would be win a second term.
Let’s be honest here. The convention is going to nominate one of the 4 candidates running even if it is brokered. There is no way rank and file GOP voters are going to put up with some loser like Jeb Bush being installed after going through the expense and time of a Primary. If Mittens is short delegates, rest assured Paul will release his to him. They are buddies.
I can’t watch the video right now, but did she say that she is in favor of one, or simply that it would be okay to have one?
Those are two different statements with two different meanings.
FTR, I’m in favor of one, too.
Great point.
no, no and no - to start a new party will guarantee Obama another four years - here comes European Socialism - and a new US Constitution soon afterwords.
don't start that talk!
our primary goal is to pry him out of the WH
In a nutshell...
She was choosing her words carefully but said that it would not be a negative thing and not to believe those that say it would be for they would be trying to protect their candidate and in closing said that the idea is certainly something we could see happen.
I am not saying the end result will get us any closer to a true Conservative candidate but if it means we step away from say a ROMNEY then well...I would at least support the process as a last ditch effort.
What are the political differences between Obama and Romney?
