Doesn’t get me very excited.

I don’t think there’s one person who voted for Obama in 2008 who’d switch because of any college-age excesses of ideological sentiment or consumption of drugs or alcohol, or even crime of the minor property sort (vandalism, grafitti, what have you).

Homosexual conduct would be explained as youthful experimentation, or might even a proud declaration that he’s a bisexual American — could cost him North Carolina and Virginia but if we’re fighting for North Carolina and Virginia in November we’ve already lost.

That leaves outright serious crime — assault, felony level theft or property damage, drug dealing — caught on video. Love Obama or hate him, you can’t deny that he’s been a careful, deliberate and ambitious his entire life — that kind of conduct would be grossly out of character and pretty darn unlikely.

That may have been the philosophy during the last campaign, but o has lost his glow and isn’t ‘cool’ anymore. So, it’s just one more eww factor for people to distance themselves from him...the last straw, so they can rid any possible guilt to accept turning their back on him and admitting he was and is a bad choice....’just say no’.
