The early 70's to mid 80's were wild times though. About once a month a car in a remote parking lot at O'Hare airport would be found with a body or two in it.

Or they'd just come into a restaurant at lunch with shotguns and whack you like they did with Richard Cain, at 'Rose's Sandwich Shop' on Grand Ave. (Rose's never opened up after that. And that sucked as they had great Italian Sub's (aka: a Poor Boy) & Egg Sandwich's during Lent)
