"You can’t stop what the establishment wants."

Yes and everything between now and election day is just entertaining the masses who think they actually have some influence on the outcome. Its more bread and circuses. The only choice is democratic communism or republican socialism.

I’d have to agree. The establishment is doing their best to keep it entertaining this year.

“if the GOP don’t watch whats its doing, there will be a 3rd party next election because they ran the conservative base off.”

If the Pubbies are foolish enough to nominate Jeb Bush, there almost certainly will be a third-party “rebellion”.

And I’ll probably be a part of it!

No more Bushes.
No more Clintons.
No more Kennedys.
Ever.

It looks like we may end up with one of their picks anyway.

We need Sarah to help Newt-nothing will ever change until we send a message to the ruling class who keeps the power over us. I talked to friends who say they are not even going to vote. People want reform.

Yes, I agree with all of your thoughts. After the confession of James Carville, one can see exactly what is happening. He tells us the big boys of the RNC deliberately hurt Newt. I wish a third party was ready to go. I believe Palin is the only person who can either energize Newt's campaign or get into the race herself to save this country. We don't have a force to unite for a change of how Washington works. If they destroy, Newt, I lose all hope to ever see that happening.

A brokered convention is like a California referendum. People take the time to vote and someone comes along and says its a waste of time, they know better. Political elites and activist judges both need to be kicked to the curb.

[Article] The Romney campaign pooh-poohed the notion of a brokered convention at which a dark horse would come forward. “Fantasy,” said Stuart Stevens, Mr Romney’s chief strategist. “All my life I've heard that. Pigs will fly. Total fantasy.

I love it. You can just hear the sweat, lol.

Sweat, Mittbot. Sweat me some big droplets.

Cite to my last: Article from Daily Mail Online. Article here:

http://harndenblog.dailymail.co.uk/2012/02/top-republican-at-cpac-jeb-bush-could-emerge-as-nominee-at-a-brokered-convention-.html

More article:
Mr Cardenas said that there were other names that might also be in the frame if no one could amass the 1,144 delegates needed. “Chris Christie, Mitch Daniels, there’s a slew of potential candidates. Mike Huckabee. There are five or six candidates that will always be in the conversation if that [a brokered convention] were the case.”

Notice that the head of the American Conservative Union is a) Hispanic-American (named Cardenas), which is a group the RiNO's have been cultivating, especially the Bush family (who are incubating George P. Bush for an eventual political career), and b) just dropped the name of Jeb Bush as a dark-horse candidate.

Notice also the other names he mentioned, all RiNO darlings, led by Chris Christie, a RiNO deluxe who never heard of a social-conservative issue he didn't want to diss, and with whom Ann Coulter is deeply in political love.

Notice thirdly that somehow the name of Sarah Palin did not cross his lips, howbeit that she was the VP nominee four years ago. In fact, he did not mention a single conservative of any stripe, save possibly Huckabee, whose creds, as a product of Arkansas politics (the Stevens machine that gave us the Clintons) are suspect.

I’d have a lot more respect for Jonah’s opinions if he weren’t such a fat, slovenly, little t**t.

I take it, then, that only people who are slender and put-together are worthy of your respect, and of the mantle of American opinion leadership.

Like Kim Kardashian. And Snooki.

>> I wish Jindal was eligible. <<

** Pounds head on desk **

Children of immigrants are “natural-born citizens,” as every person must be a natural-born citizen of somewhere. This is all based on a thoroughly ignorant reading of some French dude’s assertions of “naturels,” a term which has been improperly translated as “natural-born citizen,” but would be better translated as “indigenous.” Why in God’s name conservatives think we should look to a Frenchman’s writings to define American law is beyond me.

The notion of “natural” in “natural-born” refers to natural law, not to indigenous peoples. Emmerich Vattel’s definition, if applied to the U.S. Constitution at the time of its framing, would have created an obvious and absurd legal condition: Immigrants to America during the colonial era would be eligible for the presidency, because they did not need to be born in a country which had not existed, yet... but their children would not be eligible, since they did not fit Vattel’s definition of “natural-born!”
