OKLAHOMA CITY – No more Mr. Nice Guy for Rick Santorum.
The newly-energized presidential candidate on Thursday launched a full-throated attack on front-runner Mitt Romney, saying the former Massachusetts governor’s campaign “has been about serially tearing down opponents without offering any kind of vision for what he wants to do for this country.
“This is the gotcha politics of Mitt Romney,” Santorum said, sounding complaints almost identical to those lodged by rival conservative Newt Gingrich against Romney after Gingrich won the South Carolina primary last month.
“He’s not interested in talking about the issues,” Santorum said of Romney. “He’s interested in trying to pander and make political sauce when there’s real substantive issues about how we’re gonna try to change this government. And he’s on the wrong side of it.”

I believe that Ron Paul is on the ballot in Virginia so I hoping that Paul wins Virginia just to send a message to the Rinos and talking heads that we DONT’T WANT romney.
That would be nice but I’m hoping that the unavoidable historically low turnout BECAUSE of the RIGGED primary will embarrass the VA GOP enough to give in and let the Republicans there vote for THEIR candidates.
I fear by the time the primary gets to my state, only Romney and Paul will be on the ballot. I will do exactly as you are as well to send’m a message.

Funny seeing that part of his grand strategy was to have Romney unload on other candidates so he can then have their supporters stampede to him when they got spooked.

Santorum showed me that he is a small man when he stood by and let mittens savage Newt. Now that mittens’ smear machine is attacking him, Santorum suddenly cares.
Santorum is a loser. I listened to him several time when he substituted for Bill Bennett on Fridays. He struck me as not to bright. After all, how bright do you have to be to call someone, “Macaca.”
That last wasn’t Santorum.
God has a plan for Rick, I want to be on HIS plan. Right now I believe God is working through Rick Santorum. He is our 2012 George Washington no doubt. He is FAR from perfect but is a humble willing servant who us about to suffer an onslought of personal attacks which in the end is going to help prepare him for future battles.
I thought it was George Allen who made the macaca remark. I have listened to Rick on Bill Bennett’s program many Fridays and he’s plenty bright.
Where’s the stay above it all, all-positive-all-the-time candidate? Sounds suspiciously like whining to me! Pretty soon he’s going to be hiding under his desk desperately trying to un-wad his panties, right?
I’m sorry, but if he’d shown one SCINTILLA of empathy towards Newt, instead of running those snarky negative ads, maybe I could work up a little sympathy.

Virginia does not permit write-ins. I am truly disgusted. The state motto is Sic semper tyrannis - “thus always to tyrants.”. How ironic.
