Deadly attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists are being carried out by an Iranian dissident group that is financed, trained and armed by Israels secret service, U.S. officials tell NBC News, confirming charges leveled by Irans leaders.
The group, the Peoples Mujahedin of Iran, has long been designated as a terrorist group by the United States, accused of killing American servicemen and contractors in the 1970s and supporting the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran before breaking with the Iranian mullahs in 1980.

The Iranians have been murdering Americans for YEARS.
No problem for the Obama Administration, derived
from Iran and The Undocumented One’s 57 States,
who support this.
“U.S. officials” are helping who by telling NBC News?
Misinformation to cause confusion.
When you conduct covert operations in your enemy’s back yard, you’re bound to deal with unsavory elements. Hardly surprising.
They are talking about MEK which has been under AMERICAN protection throughout the Iraq war conducting crossborder raids into Iran FOR the US and has the support of the likes of Admiral Woolsey, among others. THIS is a propaganda piece designed to make Israel look bad and has twisted the truth by omission. THIS is a disgusting piece of yellow journalism.
snip> How Dangerous Is Obama?
By James Lewis
It’s now quite clear that Obama is playing chicken with Israel on Iranian nukes. That is why Leon Panetta came out with a statement this week accusing Israel of planning to attack Iran. If that statement is true, it’s the worst kind of sabotage, undermining the advantages of surprise. If it’s false, it is intended to place Israel at the focus of Iranian rage. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
The goal of Obama’s nuclear brinkmanship is to drive Israel into making dangerous territorial compromises. This is a Carteresque policy: blame the victim, and arm her enemy. Jimmy Carter enabled Iranian radicalization starting with Ayatollah Khomeini, heedless of the disastrous and possibly genocidal consequences. Carter recently said that an Iranian nuclear weapon was no big deal, as if a nuke in the hands of a suicide-preaching Khomeinist ideology machine is just fine with him. Well, the Saudis know their Iranian enemies a great deal better than Jimmy Carter does, and they are sending their money to Switzerland.

obutthead is doing all he can to get war going
This isn’t “news.” This is common sense and has been for years. Nothing new here.
HOW!? can you say that about our muslim president who is also at war with the Christians and everything else American?
The US has no idea who its friends are. Iran is not. Israel is. And they’re clearly siding against Israel if this report is true about their confirmation of nuke scientist deaths.
And, it can only help Iran achieve their nuke. That must be our covert policy. The next thing you know we’ll be sending nuke scientists on lend lease.
Nuclear Scientists today, loony Iranian Mullahs tomorrow.
What’s new here is Israel getting plamed and nobody is going to lose his liberty, property and career for doing it.
In an ideal world if these ‘officials’ did exist, one would hope they were found out, extradited to Israel and executed after trial.
Sadly, I fear Obama would insist on their promotion.
The same Democrats who went nuts over Valerie Plame have no problem with this.
I see references to Admiral Woolsey but have never seen a bio regarding his time in uniform. Wondering if you have?
Shaking my head (not at you)......
Iran claims it has the capability to hit US Forces anywhere in the world and someone in the administration wants Israel to look bad.
Not his early days, nut there is an awful lot of info about him all over the place. Some I like, some I don’t. What I DO know is that he is a Patriot.
This from wiki:
In 2010, Woolsey supported the Oklahoma ban on Sharia law, recording a message aired for thousands of Oklahomans. Woolsey, along with co-authors such as former deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin and neoconservative activist Frank Gaffney, Jr., released a book entitled “Shariah: The Threat to America,” published by the Center for Security Policy.
The book “describes what its authors call a ‘stealth jihad’ that must be thwarted before it’s too late,” and argues that “most mosques in the United States already have been radicalized, that most Muslim social organizations are fronts for violent jihadists and that Muslims who practice sharia law seek to impose it in this country.”
According to the Washington Post, “Government terrorism experts call the views expressed in the center’s book inaccurate and counterproductive.”
Woolsey was also criticized for his participation in the controversial films The Third Jihad and Iranium produced by the Clarion Fund.
The CIA and our special Ops guys have been working with them for years. If you remember several key bases and parades have blown up with these guys pulling the trigger. Why is this being released now is the question we need to ponder? I am not sure but will be watching the news closely. Nothing is accidental with this group of traders.
This would appear to be the most effective resistance movement in Iran. They’re Marxists who are secular on social issues (i.e. no restrictions on women, sexuality), but claim that Islam’s edicts are a prescription for Marxism. (Much like Democrats claim that Christian moral precepts lead inexorably to Marxism). From Wikipedia:

The MEK responded in turn, and on 28 June 1981, bombs were detonated at the headquarters of the since-dissolved Islamic Republic Party. Around 70 high-ranking officials, including Chief Justice Mohammad Beheshti (who was the second most powerful figure in the revolution after Ayatollah Khomeini at the time), cabinet members, and elected members of parliament, were killed. The Mujahedin never publicly confirmed or denied any responsibility for the deed, but stated the attack was `a natural and necessary reaction to the regime’s atrocities.` The bomber was identified as a Mujahedin operative by the name of Mohammad Reza Kolahi, who had secured a job in the building disguised as a sound engineer.[51] Khomeini accused them of culpability and, according to BBC journalist Baqer Moin, the Mujahedin were “generally perceived as the culprits” for it in Iran.[52] Two months later on August 30, another bomb was detonated killing the popularly elected President Rajai and Premier Mohammad Javad Bahonar. An active member of the Mujahedin, Massoud Kashmiri, was identified as the perpetrator, and according to reports came close to killing the entire government including Khomeini.[53] The reaction following both bombings was intense with many arrests and executions of Mujahedin and other leftist groups, but “assassinations of leading officials and active supporters of the regime by the Mujahedin were to continue for the next year or two.”
