If you are going to post a list like this you must be a Romney supporter! No liberals needed here. If you are a Newt supporter trying to tank Santorum, I could post a factual 2 pager that makes your list like child play.

I am a Newt supporter- and I wouldn’t advise posting your ‘2 pager’against Newt. Newt is Mr. Robinson’s choice.

Landsbaum is a column writer for this newspaper. He does not comment after he posts a piece of the column, therfore you have to click on his newspaper to read the rest. He has been told before he has to post the whole article, but he doesnt. He has posted a slew of articles in the last two-three days, commenting on none.
If you or anyone else have told him that "he has to post the whole article," then they are giving out poor advice. Copyright restrictions imposed upon Free Republic prohibit Posters from posting "the whole article" from the Orange County Register. Only an excerpt and link are permitted.

Sounds like you like seeing facts about candidates. For instance, Newt started politics by supporting Nelson Rockefeller's 1968 presidential campaign. Is that really relevant to today? As someone else pointed out, you cite a host of votes Rick took where he voted with the Majority Leader. Does that reflect his core beliefs? On the core issues there isn't a doubt. On Global warming, healthcare, life, killing entitlement, etc. Rick is as strong or stronger on the issues. I can list the exact dates and votes of Newt expanding programs and spending money but that only helps Romney. Maybe you should start supporting the most conservative guy running or quit trying to tear down fellow conservatives. Rick was the better man today and said he would not ask Newt to get out of the race.

That little RINO voting weasel doesn’t have a Chinaman’s chance of winning...and if he did, Obama would crucify him.
If you got the ‘goods’ on Newt, let us see it.
I don’t think you do.
I posted how Ricardo voted with the links to back it up.

I'm pretty sure that most of us understand that there are certain publications that have insisted on "excerpt only" status. We are used to this kind of stuff from the hostile elements in the MSM since it's not in their best interests to foster commentary on their ill conceived opinions and distortion of facts.
What's really galling to many contributing FReepers is a supposedly "conservative" newspaper first placing those kind of restrictions on us and then turning around and having one of their writers use the excerpt feature on FR as if it were their own personal hit farm. (That, and doing it from two separate FReeper accounts as well!)
Mark Landsbaum has made it quite clear (in the few isolated instances where he has actually replied to a poster on FR) that he's here primarily to promote hits for his paper and his personal blog, which he is shielding under the excerpt aegis of the OC Register.
In this respect, Landsbaum is a double spammer and as one poster has pointed out early in this thread, he only posts a minimal sentence or two, rather than the 300 word excerpt normally allowed. This makes it even harder to determine the true nature of the content which in this case is quite disappointing, given the hype in the title.
If Mr. Landsbaum were approaching this as a member of the community, interacting with those commenting on his posts, then perhaps there would be less rancor.
But as long as he persists in pimping rather than participating, he can expect to earn only the skeptical derision of those who are, at this very moment, trying to keep the Good Ship FreeRepublic afloat.
He'll just have to pardon us if lining his pockets isn't our top priority.

Rick Santorum is the only Republican candidate who is different enough from Obama to beat him. Romney is so close to Obama that even George Soros said there is little difference between them. Given that, why would people vote for a change? ‘These guys are the same so why change from what we have got’?

To summarize, landsbaum see FreeRepublic as his b!tch to be used the way he wants with nothing offered in return.
Hell with the blogpimp.

Agreed.
I don’t appreciate giving privately of my own hard earned money for free advertising for someone’s sole self-admitted purpose of posting on FR to be using it to line his pockets.
Besides, how many accounts could I carry and admit to, that FR and the mods would tolerate?
Can I open another account and post on it?

You need to get over your hatred against Rick Rick Santorum.
