This is an indicator of a blowout win for Obama since neither Romney or Santorum can’t even inspire GOP voters and many stay home.”

Maybe.

But I think there is another possibility. While it is true that the GOP primary voters are not overly excited about any of these 3 guys, that doesn’t mean that they are not excited about beating obama. I can totally see the logic of sitting out of the primary and then coming back in November to beat obama. Sort of an “I don’t care who the nominee is, I am going to vote for him”.

I do think that could be going on here.

I believe that you and others who also subscribe to your line of reasoning are deluding yourselves. None of these candidates are generating the enthusiasm that is needed to beat Obama.

The only hope is that Obama is so reviled by those who are inclined to vote for him that they end up more apathetic than those who will vote against him. Consider the turnout for Republicans in 2008 and those who voted for McCain versus those who voted for Obama.

Obama may not be well liked, but that does not necessarily translate into motivation to get out and vote against him. What will most likely happen is apathy will take hold on both sides.

I hope I'm wrong.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

This is exactly what I've been thinking. I voted for Newt two weeks ago, but now am trending toward Santorum because Newt is more concerned with settling a score. Ron Paul is the crazy old uncle who's dead on abou thte economy/FED, but is a whack job on everything else. And Romney is just slightly to the Right of 0BowMao and I trust him.

Bottom line .. I have my preference, and I'm not thrilled about any of them, but I'll enthusiastically vote for ANYONE not named "0bama!"
