Husband and I voted for Newt tonight in our caucus. Romney won in our precinct, but I believe Santorum won the district by one vote.

In Colorado, there are a lot of people who did vote Gingrich anyway, even though the strategy starting in South Carolina was supposedly to vote for whoever had the better chance of winning.

And unlike Florida, where 100% of Santorum votes couldn’t pull Gingrich past Romney, it’s clear that in Colorado, Gingrich votes will turn out to be the spoiler votes that might give Romney a plurality win. Santorum might still pull it out, but it’s harder fighting both Romney and Gingrich.

SANTORUM WINS COLORADO

That will be tomorrow’s headline. At 1AM Romney holds a slight lead with @ 75% of the vote in. HOWEVER, crucial El Paso county - a heavy Evangelical county with Colorado Springs - is still out. The county has 10% of the state’s vote, and it will go strong for Santorum, putting him over the top.
