Hey, Drudge... We are still a representative republic! Since when is any national U.S. election ever determined by POPULAR VOTE???

It’s time for Romney to drop out. Put a fork in him.
I think the nomination may be Santorum’s to lose.
I was a Gingrich guy, but the momentum is clearly in Rick’s favor now.

I’m really proud of Santorum right now and think this could be a turning point in the road to the GOP nomination! I only wish we didn’t have to wait three more weeks for the next state primary races, which of course will give Romney plenty of time to re-establish himself by using his hefty war chest to saturate the airwaves with more negative ads. :-(

That’ll REALLY make their heads explode! After all, we’re supposed to be “dead”, right? ;-)
Now THAT is a game-changing ad! That was POWERFUL! Most of the time I think the majority of the ads are “weak sauce”. That one would actually sway me.
Awwwww!!! Poor little Annie Coultergeist. Her and her friend Matt Fudge might not their gay marriage Gov. in the WH. Then what will she and her GOProud friends do?...
"Ron Paul said tonight that he defines coming in second as a "win." Sadly, that's also his foreign policy."
That is all she's got? LMAO
Agree! I can’t bear to watch political TV anymore, so I have missed all of the campaign ads. I used to watch all the “news” programs, but no more-—only when necessary, like the debates and primaries.
I particularly liked the way this ad hit at the GOP elite. They’re shoving Romney down conservatives’ throats. With that ad and tonight’s caucuses, Santorum is shoving him back down their’s.
Passing this link on down thread.
It’s awesome!

I dont quite know either how there could be such a shift from Newt to Rick in so short a time. I think that what this proves is that Newt and Rick are appealing largely to the exact same audience. When one goes up, the other must come down. They never finish 1st and 2nd in line, but 1st/3rd or 1st/4th.
Why did Rick surge? Newt seems to have run into huge money troubles after blowing his wad in Florida. He didnt seem to put in the campaign effort here and he had no debates to benefit from for free coverage. Rick seemed to put in a real effort campaigning in these states.
Although its been a while since the last debates, Newt arguably had his worst two debates in Florida, while Santorum landed at least a couple strong punches on both Newt and Mitt. Those performances may have been sinking into peoples minds.
Santorum did get some recent endorsements since Florida...Michelle Malkin, Sharon Angle, and I think there was another decent one.
Maybe the story of him going to be with his sick daughter humanized him in a way that hadnt happened to any of the candidates so far.
And certainly the news cycle of the economy improving but with the huge controversy over Obamacare and the church taking center stage...well, you couldnt find a better issue for Santorum to run on, combining both Obamacare which he hammered in the last debate with a social issue that would motivate his base of religious conservatives to get out and vote.

An excellent and well-thought out post. I might also add that perhaps voters have become tired and burned out with the nasty and visceral Romney/Gingrich war and have decided to take another look at Santorum who appears to carry far less baggage by comparison.
I added it to out twitter acct! it has been retweeted 3 times in the last 15 min... :)

LOL - Trump endorses Mitt, Mitt promptly loses three primaries.
Then what's with the screen name?
Yep....and way to go!!! As much as I dont' want Santorum to win I am loving Newt's plays.....
Some said if Newt was so great why didn't he rise faster in the beginning....well...the stage was pretty full and he let the small fry play for awhile....then he rose.
Now things will get really interesting!!!!!
Ok...I'll say it...Good for Santorum!!!!! and way to go!!!!
Great post! Says it all!...What a great night it was tonight....Sweet!!!
