That's my take too. Our current ultrapolarized hyper-political climate makes everything subject to extreme scrutiny. I'm gonna take Mr. Eastwood at his word. Then again, he used the word "is" which could be construed as a subtle reference to the Clinton administration.

The ad was in defense of the bailout and the reelection of Obama, i.e., the second half. The message wasn’t that subtle. It was pure propaganda from Government Motors.

Yes, it was a statement hoiw America as a whole is behind and it is halftime..and we will win! Not in the ad, which is fine..is we will win as soon as we get a conservative majority and President! Asap!
