Easy answer - none of the candidates warranted tea party support, and that's especially true of the three left standing. There were no Rand Pauls or Mike Lees in the race. Focus on the senate and house races - that way it will be easier to keep whichever president is in the white house honest.

It would be good if we could have these civil discussions and respect each other. I like Rand and Mike Lee a lot. I’m also sympathetic to many of Ron Paul’s views and I was completely behind a healthy, well-healed Rick Perry. I don’t mind if we have a genuine floor fight over genuine, well-qualified candidates. The ringers took away from that fight. They offered nothing and now we’re where we are. I still think we’re gonna make it ok.
