Instead of the traditional election night party, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will hold a press conference after the Nevada Caucus on Saturday, raising new speculation about his future in the race. (snip)

In 2008, Ron Paul was second with less than 14%.
Honestly, I think you ought to be part of Newt’s national campaign team. You have really good ideas about his campaign strategies and tactics. Bravo on your #134 post!
Any poster is free to repost anything the owner has said for information purposes. He has said that those that push Romney should not do so. There is no debate there.
Goodbye.
He certainly wouldn't use this venue to announce he's withdrawing.
Regardless of what he's going to say, this may be a smart ploy to grab a little attention away from Mitts probable win.
REALLY? LOL
Did you watch this last night?

He looked GREAT, refreshed, and on fire!
Sure got your panties in a twist there! LOL

He looked GREAT and he was on fire.
But like you said, unless of course you didn’t watch it, it is what we observe. :)
I’m glad you liked it :-)
I heard Newt on one of the interview shows yesterday talking about Nevada expectations. He said that 2008 exit polls showed that one out of four Nevada primary voters were Mormon, and 95% of their votes went to Romney. Newt says he’s hoping to be a strong second. I hope so too, but he might be battling RuPaul for that position. Gosh, Nevada is a joke - a Harry Reid-sized joke.
Take your pick, has the GOP committed Suicide again like they did with Dole, or have they handed us Freepers and Tea Partier's our Divorce Papers?
Like the abused wife, I ain't gonna take their crap anymore.
My metaphorical smacking them in the head with a frying pan is writing in Palin, Reagan or Goldwater, whatever name tickles my fancy that day.
To the GOP and their Corination of Romney, Congradulations!
You can win, but you are going to have to do it without me.
I will not enable them anymore...
They are going to get their @$$es handed to them in 2012, it is time for us to build our own party....
“Gosh, Nevada is a joke - a Harry Reid-sized joke.”
I agree completely!
GO Newt!
REALLY! LOL
(I don't know if you have a major malfunction, in which case I wish you the best. Otherwise, you appear to be in serious need of a little break from the interwebs. Starting internet pissing contests with people who are on the same side as you are is goofy at best. If it helps you to have the last word, here ya go...)
And FreeRepublic would be silent because everyone one of us would be at volunteer offices with bandages on our behinds because we would have worked our @$$es off, no time to Freep ... :-)
I lived in PA for 55 years, so, of course, I wouldn't know anything about the political climate there.
We are on the same side!
and my REALLY was truly a surprise.
Did you watch the video?
I watched it live last night, he was Great, acted refreshed and on Fire.
I loved the part where he encouraged the kids from 12 under to come up with him and Callista. It is about giving America back to the kids.
It wasn’t rehearsed it was a spur of the moment idea from Gingrich himself.
So again I was surprised by your comment. Take care Lonevoice
GO Newt!
I talked to a friend on the phone who told me about this posted on another site. I happened to run into a gentleman, that was with Reagan thru his gov campaign and his presidency. Who is also a friend of Newt.
I asked him about it, and he immediately called Newt's NV campaign Manager, who said and I quote "Newt is not quitting".
Supposedly this press conference is to lay out his plan to win.
Now if it is anything else I would be surprised.
I talked to him a very long time and he is a wealth of knowledge. He spoke at his precinct at the caucus about Newt and the Reagan years, giving his first hand knowledge of the relationship between Newt and Reagan. He told his precinct that Reagan would be Proud of Newt and if he was still living would be behind Newt all the way. It was a great speech, the parts I could hear from my all Mormon area :(
THANK YOU, for the update!
It is good to hear from someone at the scene.
BTW the caucus process has got to be the easiest way to commit fraud there is! Now I know how Obama beat Hillary!
Newt even said on Greta last night, he knew he wouldn't win in NV, but was going forward.
That is good news. Looking forward to hearing what the plan is.
