Romney hitting Newt for not congratulating him is is like Tonya Harding calling Nancy Kerrigan classless for not congratulating her.
I can imagine that if the liberal media thought Gingrich needed a smack-down, they’d just compare this to the time Gingrich was put on the back of Air Force One.
That they don’t suggests to me that at this moment, they have no desire to damage Newt Gingrich. They are having too much fun with Romney “I don’t care about the poor” (like they once did with their misleading quote of Newt about Medicare “Withering on the Vine.”
Dear Newt: Romney outspent you because you have no money and you are massively in debt. Why do you have no money?
I have to agree with Newt. Romney has run an unusually negative campaign. It’s not right for him to try to totally destroy another more conservative Republican. However, I admit that I am biased - “I root for Newt!”
