But your link to the 1996 incarnation of this story is very interesting.

It begs the questions: Just how long has Romney been milking this? Why do the details keep changing? Why did this "information" go viral via e-mail in 2007/2008? And now during the primaries of 2012?

Questions, questions, questions...

But on one point, we agree. Romney IS qualified to be president.

He just chose the wrong party.
