He wants to slash the federal government. Of course he’s not going to be on the winning side with that. How many of the other 434 congressmen (either Dims or Republicans) want to do that? You can probably fit them in a phone booth.

I am supporting Gingrich for Pres. (had supported Bachmann until she dropped out) because he is the most tolerable candidate left as far as I’m concerned. My preferences among the (not very encouraging) field:
1. Gingrich
2. Santorum
3. Paul
4. Romney.
Amoung the four, I think Paul would try to reign in government spending more than any of the others. I think Newt could be second. However, I favor Gingrich and Santorum over Paul based upon Paul’s foreign/defense positions and weakness on immigration. But Paul would be more likely to take a meat cleaver to the federal budget than would Willard or Santorum.

If push came to shove, and it somehow came down to RuPaul and Mitt Commie, there’s no question that I’d vote for Paul. (Luckily, I wasn’t put in that situation and I voted for Newt.)
That being said, the moment I left the booth, I’d be planning to get rid of Paul in 2016.

What has alterPaul done that would demonstrate he could accomplish what he claims that he would accomplish if he were elected.
