Hey I’d rather have him for Newt than running as he said he would....I have to say “endorsements” are certainly telling which side of right and wrong folks are on.

Will the actual endorsement get Newt votes? Except for a few die-hard "The Apprentice" fans I don't see it as having much effect.
However it can help him in another way: If Trump endorses Newt it means that he can hardly jump in the race himself later. Thus it will help getting those sitting on the fence and maybe waiting for another entry / a third party candidate finally get behind the only viable non-Mitt-Romney candidate. As the Romans said: tertium non datur. It's either this or that, a third option doesn't exist.
