They should get free tickets because?
Maybe we should tax anyone with a job and give 39% to widows and orphans.
This is all so absurd.
Missing the point TOTALY! When given the opportunity to do something nice for woman and children who had their loved ones RIPPED from them in such a VIOLENT way, he chose to ignore them and give those tickets to people that he could get political favor from.

Why should the widows and orphans of 9-11 get free tickets to the Olympics? Didn’t they already get sizable settlements from the government? What’s wrong with them paying for their own tickets, since they have the money? Why should we have more sympathy for these people than for the thousands of other victims of violent crime who get nothing from the government?
It made sense to give the tickets to the Utah politicians. The games were in UTAH, for crying out loud, not NYC.
