You are tone deaf if you think that. Conservatives should rally around the real conservative, Santorum. New polls are suggesting he could give Willard real competition.

Newt and Romney agree on too many issues for my taste. But then again, I consider myself a real conservative.

Better Newt than Mitt. Better Santorum than both.

The Republicans had better send someone who will change the way Washington works, otherwise nothing will ever change.

When a middle class citizen, like Tome Delay for instance, goes to serve in Congress, then later leaves Washington a mutlit-millionaire, somthing is seriously wrong.

Newt Gingrich resigned from office and went to work as a consultant, earning his money the old fashioned way - he earned it.

Rick Santorum loves pork, entitlements, and earmarks. He voted for all the following:
Sponsored An amendment to increase Amtrak funds by $550 million
Voted to use HUD funds for the Joslyn Art Museum (NE), the Stand Up for Animals project (RI) and the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Project (WA)
Voted to increase spending on social programs by $7 billion
Voted to increase NIH funding by $1.6 billion.
Voted to increase NIHnding by $700 million
Voted to for a $2 million earmark to renovate the Vulcan Monument (AL)
Voted for a $1 billion bailout for the steel industry
Voted against requiring that highway earmarks would come out of a state’s highway allocation
Voted to allow Market Access Program funds to go to foreign companies.
Voted to allow OPIC to increase its administrative costs by 50%
Voted against transferring $20 million from Americorps to veterans.
Voted for the $140 billion asbestos compensation bill.
Voted against requiring a uniform medical criteria to ensure asbestos claims were legitimate.
Voted to increase community development programs by $2 billion.
Voted to make Medicare part B premium subsidies a new entitlement.
Voted against paying off the debt ($5.6 trillion at the time) within 30 years.
Voted to give $18 billion to the IMF.
Voted to raid Social Security instead of using surpluses to pay down the debt.

Wow! Sounds like life in your alternate reality is WILD!

Romney is a gun grabbing, abortion pushing, homosexual approving liberal. Gingrich has NEVER been any of those things.

Take the train back to reality.

Whether Santorum is a stalking horse for the man he endorsed in 08, or not.

Santorum doesn’t have the ‘it’ factor, he isn’t close to being able to win a presidential nomination, why do you think he sits at the children’s table while Romney and Newt duke it out.

Romney wants Santorum to stay in this race, and to keep doing what he is doing, and to keep this from turning into a man to man race against the tea party guy.
