I just got a four paragraph response to my Reince Priebus letter(sent a copy to a district GOP chair) begging me to reconsider. He loves Romney and says that to not vote for him is to reelect Bam.
I wrote back and suffice it to say, I’m still in fightin’ mode.
Basically I told him that if Hussein is reelected(which I believe that he will be if Romnuts is the nominee), it’ll not be the fault of those like me who are standing up for our principles..but rather due to the GOP-E who are too weak to vet and find a good candidate and the in the tank media like Drudge.

The fact that the Romney people still think he can beat Obama illustrates their ignorance. Romney can not defeat Obama because they’re so alike (motivations aside). When given the choice between a “real deal” leftist like Obama, and an “I’m in it to win elections!” leftist like Romney the “real deal” leftist usually wins (I give you Ford’s 1976 run, GHWB’s 1992 run when he ran away from Reagan, Dole’s 1996 run, McCain’s 2008 run etc.....). “Me tooism” is a losing strategy. In addition, Romney will not have the media to carry his water if he is nominated. My prediction is that if Romney becomes the nominee media outlets like CNN will be all Bain all the time.

I think you are spot on with everything you said. You really belong here at Free Republic. I, also, am not willing to hold my nose to vote anymore. I just can't do it again. The GOP establishment/elite can KMA. They are nothing without us, and it's time they realized it in no uncertain terms. They push that liberal Romney on us at their own peril. He's not even a republican, let alone a conservative. And he's a liar through and through, a simplistic wet finger in the wind politician and nothing more.
