Their last few Tweets: Our final Florida numbers: Romney 39, Gingrich 31, Santorum 15, Paul 11 Mitt's up 45-32 with those who have already voted in Florida, about a third of the electorate: Newt has to win election day voters by 6-8 to pull upset, but Mitt up 36-30 with ppl who plan to vote tmrw Mitt up big with all his core groups in FL- 39 pt lead with moderates, 12 with seniors, 12 with women Newt only winning his core groups by single digits- 8 pts with Tea Party, 6 with Evangelicals. Not enough
Under RNC rules, Florida was not supposed to hold what's known as a "winner-take-all" primary before April. That's a primary in which all the state's delegates are awarded to the winner, as opposed to one in which the delegates are awarded proportionally.

Just voted, along with hubby, my 21 year old son and 18 year old daughter. Four votes for Newt.
The only poll that counts is the final vote count, which will be determined by which candidate’s voters are more motivated to show up and vote.
Pretty much.
If Newt suddenly bowed out of the race, does Santorum honestly believe that the establishment would allow him to mount a comeback? Absolutely not. We’d hear from the highest hills that Romney’s candidacy was inevitable, millions of dollars in ads would saturate the airwaves, and Little Ricky wouldn’t stand a chance.
The only real way for Santorum to make a positive difference in this campaign is by dropping out and throwing his support behind Newt.
. . . and pigs might whistle, but they've poor mouths for it!
Seriously, who do you have in mind? I'm trying to think of people who would be effective spokespersons & I'm drawing a blank .... no coffee yet, so maybe that's the problem.
DAILY/HOURLY Prayers for Newt Gingrich and Our Survival As A Free People
I don’t think little Ricky is going to drop out after seeing him on O’Reilly last night!
He is still all full of himself with comments about more an more folks are coming to him now....sigh. A lot of EGO at play here.
Went to the poll at Drudge, and Newt is in 2nd place now.
You betcha! Go Santorum! Lets see Romney win!/s
Rick had 17% in SC
Poll shows 15% in Florida. YEP he is really surging there!
Sorry, but you can bet with those kind of numbers. Except if you want Romney to win.
can = CAN’T beat
What? I’m not a loser to lie about my FB friends. Not sure what you are talking about. I’ve got several of these friends, but my former troop who lives in Orlando is probably the most political savy out of the bunch. It’s not looking good based on the conversation below.
Anyway, looks like my Business friend from Orlando posted this this morning, so he’s on the fence again. Names changed to protect the innocent. I think this conversation gives you inisght into the typical Romney voter.
My Friend: “I am usually very decisive but I am honestly torn between Gingrich and Romney. Any help you can provide would be helpful.”
Comment 1: Hey You! I was torn also until I sent in my absentee ballot over the weekend. I will message you in order to avoid creating FB drama haha.
Comment 2: Gingrich...that is all
Comment 3: Pick the best guy to beat Obama. I think that is Romney. You are in banking and real estate, don’t you think a VC knows that world best and can fix our economy
Comment 4: Ok, I just showed my cards by “liking” Comment 3’s comment...(Was from Comment 1)
Comment 5: You probably don’t want your sisters opinion, but I think I’m going with Romney, simply bc he knows how to successfully run a business and right now, we need someone who can turn this “company” around.
Comment 6: Allow me to provide some clarity. They both suck. Newt is a typical dishonest politician. While Romney is a blue dog democrat. If you want see the same old crap vote for one of them. If you want a president who will make things right again, the choice is Ron Paul. (Ah, what would we be without our Paulbot nutcase friends, lol)
Comment 7: I’m solidly with Romney, I think Govenors and business leaders make the best presidents, not legislators, so Romney is an A+ candidate in my book
Comment 8: Gingrich is an egotistical ideologue — we have one of those in the White House already... how’s it working out? Our country is faced with two overwhelming crises that will take up 80% of the next President’s efforts; do you want a problem solver with managerial experience who understands the “rules of commerce” or do you want someone who can lob dramatic hyperbole at an opponent during a debate? For this moment in time, we are Blessed to have someone running with the unique skills to both command authority from the Oval office and direct policy but who can also manage the details of the programs proposed. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to vote for Mitt Romney.
Comment 9: BTW, I like Newt, but for Sunday talk show point-making... not for administering policy.
Comment 10: I think Romney is the guy that can beat Obama and like your smart sistier said, “we need someone that can turn this company around.”
Comment 11: Also BTW, those two crises: economic and budget. If those crises are not addressed, we may be sunk. If they are improperly addressed, we are in trouble. If a strong leader can affectively manage the crises, our kids have a shot. Any questions on the gravity of the budget crisis, check out the Peter G Peterson Foundation stuff.
MY FRIEND: All great comments and I appreciate it. Comment 3 I do think that VC guys know how to be deal makers and that certainly is a pro in my book. Comment 6, Ron Paul is a very bright and capable guy but unfortunately he isn’t electable so I need to focus on who can beat Obama! Thanks all.
Comment 12: Of your options, I would expect Paul to be the one most likely to follow through/stick to his principles, Romney to get the most votes in a general election, and neither to be our next president.
My Friend: I love ya Comment 12 but I sure hope your wrong!
ME: If you want to keep this process going, vote Gingrich. If you are okay with the GOP Establishment and MSM annointing Romney as the inevitable nominee, vote Romney. Remember though, Romneycare, TARP, Climate Change. Pam Bondi came out on Friday that Romney would like to see more individual mandates at the state level. But above all things, don’t buy Romney’s “electability” myth. Moderates always lose and the fact people want to beat Obama won’t be enough. You have to actually vote FOR someone and not against them.
Obama is a “true believer” statist. Romney is a “self interested/me too” statist. He believes promoting the left’s agenda will help him attain elected positions (contrary to his dismal record), and media/leftist adoration (also false because the media/leftist complex will savagely turn on him should he win the nomination; they’re only propping him up because they believe strongly that he can’t beat Obama, and that even if he does statism wins anyway).
Alright, I am 99 percent certain we will lose fairly badly tonight.
Sucks, but we move on to the next one.
