The article says that Mitt was the equivalent of a Catholic Cardinal (that's CARDINAL) in the Boston Mormon Church.

If a Catholic Cardinal were running for President, do you think his church and his relationship to it would be fair game?

The Catholic Church doesn’t allow its clergy to hold public office, so that’s not something I’ve given any thought to. In any event, the Mormons don’t have the large professional clergy that the Catholic Church does. With few exceptions, it has a layman’s ministry which operates on a volunteer basis. A Mormom with the title of bishop is usually not a long-term position and it is not a paid position. It’s an apples and oranges anaolgy.

None of this means I support Mitt Romney. He is my least favorite Republican candidate. I don’t fault you for opposing him at all. Still, there is a wealth of material you can post without resorting to attacks on his faith. As I mentioned in my last post, did Romney attempt to force his religion on Massachusetts when he was Governor there?
