I said the same thing in 2008 that I would not vote for McCain--someone I despise. I followed his primary campaign for four days each in FL and SC demonstrating against him driving over 4,000 miles standing in the rain holding up signs and being manhandled by goons who tried to keep me out of his rallies.

Yet, faced with the prospect of Obama, I got involved as I usually do supporting the Rep nominee making telephone calls to get out the vote and acting as a poll watcher. I will crawl over broken glass to vote against Obama. As someone who spent 36 years in the service of this country, including being shot at, I will not be a party to the election of Obama in 2012. Too much is at stake. The Stupid Party is better than the Evil Party.

Thank you for your service.

The problem is that Romney is nothing but a white Obama with an R by his name. You are voting for the thing you do not want with Romney. So there is really no choice.
