No one hates Rudy, or did.

But nobody wanted him as President.

One thing Rudy dislikes is a greasy car salesman, and he’s calling it like he sees it.

…he is ALWAYS intellectually honest. Calls them like he sees them…

Like him or lump him, Giuliani has more integrity in his little finger than Romney has in his entire body.

Rudy get your butt down to FLA!

Great observations. This po' ol' southern boy actually likes the man.
Now if he only has conviction to go with that dose of integrity and will counter the GOP-E; NOW!

The Mittiot! I look forward to the day he fades into Goredom.

With Cain, Perry, Sowell, Palins, Reagans, Laffer, Thompson, Rudy, and others (Rush & Levin, almost there) on board now, the next big gets for Newt will be Santorum & Huck.

Wow, that’s a surprise.

Well, I’m thinking this: Perry endorsed Giuliani in 08, and now Giuliani semi-endorses Newt (and pimp-slaps Romney) in 12??

Rudy mentioned that he was a “Newt guy” to the Friends weeks ago. Haven’t seen him invited back to the curvy couch since.

Now there is an endorsement I might not have expected. I wonder if Rudy Giuliani has changed, mellowed on one hand and braved up on the other. Very curious, but much appreciated from another confident in-your-face sort. Thx, KG.

I know it’s not cool around here, but I always liked Rudy, mainly because as a regular reader of the New York Post I became very familiar with how much the liberals HATED him when he was mayor. Their hatred for Giuliani was freaking visceral! One of the funniest examples was when Danny Glover breezed into town from Hollywood and claimed the cabs in Giuliani’s New York wouldn’t pick him up because he’s black.

If he didn’t have to sell his soul and take positions on issues he actually cared NOTHING about - - primarily abortion - - in order to get elected mayor of NYC, he would be a conservative favorite right now, believe me. Giuliani is a very likeable, conservative guy. He was truly a great mayor for NYC. He brought the place out of the swamp and showed terrific leadership during the 9/11 terror attacks.

(shrug) Maybe it’s just from following his tenure as mayor on a near-daily basis, but I like the guy.
Mittens he ain’t.

Excellent!

Besides the semi-endorsement of Newt from Rudy, be sure to check out post #47 for an awesome graphic to send to any Romney-tilting friends you may have.

Are we talking about the same Boy Scout who:
• rode in on Newt's coat tails in '94
• chummed with Spector
• and through a failed Green Party coup
• got his A$$ kicked in 2006 by some 700,000 votes
• even with funny money from Highmark?
• lacks the wisdom to get out of the race
• and is beginning to give me the red A$$
A champion looking for a cause…
"…he (Rudy) has proven his mettle, when leadership was required in one of our nation’s darkest hours, he manned up and provided it."
Amen to that one!

Newsmax favors Newt, and so do I. But what Newsmax doesn’t tell you is that the interview it’s talking about on 1/28 took place on 12/15 - 6 weeks ago:

The quotes match exactly.

This primary contest is like an Ali-Frazier fight.

Naw, this primary contest is more like an Ali-Janeane Garafalo fight.

Yeah! Somewhat.

He endorsed workfare. One Day I was driving and there was nothing but a little army cleaning the litter roadways around the Rockaways, Ny. It was the people who were able body working welfare. LOL! After that it was very clean roadways.

He also brought down the Welfare checks hand outs for illegitimate mothers. You see they could get checks without notifing who the real father was to the child. Well when he became mayor if the mother did not declare who the Father was they did not get a check.

Now when they did declare the cops would find the deadbeat dad. The dead beat dad would have to pay child care. Those checks were like 1.2 million(?) before Guiliani, after Rudy got on top of it 300,000(?) were issued only. He saved the city alot of money.

He also cleaned up The filth of Times Square.

Lancey, I always like the movie The Hustler better than The Cincinnati Kid.

That may be because Minnesota Fats was a real guy who claimed little Egypt in Illinois as his home which is somewhere that I have an affinity for.

But I agree with you, I have always liked Rudy.

He had street smarts.

Lancy Howard had street smarts as did Minnesota Fats.

Rudy was a prosecutor who had street smarts or he would not have taken down organized crime in NY-NJ.

Rudy was a Republican prosecutor who was street smart, he was no elitist Republican prosecutor such as Thomas Dewey or elistist corporate raider with a storied political name such as Willard Romney.

I’m quite sure a simple search will show Rudy associated with terms like pro-abortion, baby killer, rino, ... No need to recreate history here to enjoy what Rudy said. Not stating that you said anything - just that he was much hated on FR.
